Why do email-embedded website or email
addresses sometimes not work?
This may be because of a syntactical error (such as the omission
of 'http://' before a website address, a misspelling, or the
inadvertent inclusion of a space character.
Some of you have reported unexpected spaces in the presentation
of Yahoo Groups dalesfhs emails. Surprisingly these sometimes
appear to reach their destination when clicked.
If you have any difficulty you should copy and paste the
embedded address and place it in the address dialogue box of
your browser. This will usually insert the required 'http://'
prefix. It is up to you to resolve any other syntactical
deviations. For example, it is often difficult to decide whether
a letter is a 'q' or a 'p' when the tail is obliterated by the
usual link underline.
